Home / About Us / College Board

As an Independent Public School, Geraldton Senior College Council has voted to undertake the process of forming a College Board. The College Board is the governance body responsible for representing the strategic direction of Geraldton Senior College. Our council is made up of 15 members: parents (5), community members (4), a P&C representative, and staff (3). The Principal and Corporate Service Manager are required members. At least one community member is of Aboriginal descent.

With the best outcome for students in mind, the board meets monthly to consider the vision and direction of the school, with members bringing ideas and lending their expertise to many topics including strategic planning and community partnerships. The College Board also oversees the Business Plan, and monitors the budget for actions that support our four priorities of:

  • Success for all Students
  • Quality Teaching and Leadership
  • Wellbeing
  • Community Partnerships
