As an Independent Public School, Geraldton Senior College Council has voted to undertake the process of forming a College Board.  The College Board is the governance body responsible for representing the strategic direction of Geraldton Senior College. Our council is made up of 15 members: parents (5), community members (4), a P&C representative, staff (3) and our Deputy Head Boy and Girl. The Principal and Corporate Service Manager are required members. At least one community member is Aboriginal.

The College Board assists in setting the direction for the College’s future, oversees the Business Plan, and monitors the budget for actions that support our four priorities of:

  • Success for all students
  • Quality teaching and leadership
  • Wellbeing
  • Community partnerships

The College Board meets monthly during term on the third Tuesday from 6pm – 7:30pm. The Annual General Meeting is held in May each year.
